Obsidian is molten lava that has cooled so quickly that it had no time to crystalize. It impells us to grow and lends solid support while we do. Be warned, it can bring negative emotions and unpleasant truths to the surface of your conscienciousness for assimulation, but this provides deep soul healing. Obsidian is very protective and shields against negativity and is also very grounding.
Healing Obsidians greatest gift is insight in to the cause of dis-ease. It aids physical, mental, emotional and spiritual digestion. It detoxifies the body, reduces pain of athritis, joint problems and injuries and is beneficial in prostate problems.
