Earth Hour

Crystal Solice was so happy to hear about Earth Hour coming around again so soon for 2009. The ability to give something back to Earth is an amazing gift. Although my home is lit entirely using energy saving bulbs and I do every little thing I can to conserve energy, Earth Hour gives the Earth just a chance to take a well needed breath. When Earth Hour was first brought to Canada, Crystal Solice was very happy to join in on the activities and help support this amazing history making event. 2009's Earth Hour is no different!

Help reduce your carbon footprint, help reduce the smog in Toronto, help make the world a cleaner place. Join us on March 28th by simply switching off all non-essential electrical appliances, such as lights, TV, computers and monitors etc for 1 hour, just 60 minutes and be part of Earth Hour. Put off doing that load of washing till Sunday, put off running the dishwasher until Sunday.. You know you want to!!

• Turn off non-essential lights on March 28 from 8:30 to 9:30 pm.
• Challenge your family, friends, neighbours and social networks to take part in Earth Hour.
• Look for ways to change your habits in the long term.
• Most of all, be safe - especially around naked candles!
